About Us

Let me introduce myself, my name is Elaina and I am the owner and founder of Doodle Den. My career in dog grooming came about after I became the slave to two gorgeous girls called Fern and Ivy, my two,apricot cockapoo sisters. Having two cockapoos meant double the fun, double the love but also double the coat maintenance. As I learnt a bit more about grooming the girls I found I had a real love for it and found a dog grooming school, Waggingtails in Perth. Dog grooming has become a real passion for me and I love to get to know each dog and gain their trust. At Doodle Den, I am committed to providing one-on-one grooming services that cater to the individual needs of your dog. I believe in consent based grooming, where the dogs welfare comes first.  If it is safe to do so, I will not use restraints and will work on desensitisation techniques to build trust and give the best positive grooming experience to your dog. 
With extensive training and a deep love for animals, I strive to create a stress-free grooming experience. I am level 3 diploma trained, fully insured and first aid qualified. I aim to continuously educate myself and my clients for the benefit of the dogs in my care. 
Every appointment is an opportunity to enhance the well-being of your furry friend. 

Doodle Den is based in my garden salon and is by appointment only. Bookings can be made through the contact form, by telephone or text. As I work on a one to one basis drop in appointments are not possible.
